Intervarsities Final Info!
Posted by Stuart on 12/03/09 12:35
For those of you going to the Intervarsities this Saturday, here are the final details:
Trinity have kindly organised a bus down. It will be leaving from Nassau St (along the side of Trinity) at 945am and will return after the (3 course) meal, aiming to be back in Dublin after 8pm. As usual, the bus, entries and meal will be free :-) There are about 40 students from around the country entered, so it promises to be a very sociable day. Entries are closed now but if you haven't entered and would still like to come, let us know and we'll see if we can arrange something!

THIS SUNDAY'S EVENT (15th) - POSTPONED
Posted by Stuart on 12/02/09 13:17
Due to the current weather conditions, UCDO have decided to postpone
this Sunday's event on Kanturk. The Military Road is barely passable
and the mountains are still covered in deep snow. Although warmer
weather is forecast for the weekend, it is unlikely that it will melt
in time.
The next available date on the calendar appears to be March 8th.
Provided this does not clash with anything, we will reschedule the
event to then. Details will be provided on this website and on orienteering.ie nearer the time.
We would be grateful if you could inform anyone who might not have seen this notice.

Due to a clash with a MTB race and a slightly inaccurate map, UCDO have
had to move Sunday's event (15th February) from Sugarloaf. The event will now be held
on Kanturk Mountain (subject to receipt of the appropriate permits). We
are very grateful to CNOC for allowing us to use their map.If
this mysterious white stuff doesn't recede however, we may be forced to
postpone the event to another date, or curtail courses. We will make a
final decision later in the week and let you know via this website and
the Orienteering eGroups on orienteering.ie.We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but hope you agree that Ka...
